JIW provides assistance to employers and help them devise a comprehensive Workplace Drug Policy program. Services include: workplace substance education component, confidential screening by a licensed clinical staff, treatment referrals to health professionals when necessary, confidential follow-up to support individuals in recovery. JIW will train employers, supervisors and managers about the workplace policy and/or program, provide information about urinalysis drug testing circumstances and employee rights to confidentiality. In addition, JIW will provide information about educational opportunities, ongoing employee and supervisor trainings aimed to help identify impaired behavior and other signs of substance abuse at the workplace. An outline about how to deal with impaired workers, provisions about how to assist chronic substance users and ongoing support is provided. An extensive program is offered and will depend on the size of the business.
